Art for Water projects activate communities – large and small, private and public. Together, we produce three-dimensional installations that serve as focal points for additional artistic and educational events – talks, readings, dance and musical performances, photography, film and video exhibitions.

Private communities – schools and institutions host Art for Water projects as a way to focus curricula and activities. Participants of all ages can find a way to express and create, contributing to the powerful effect of community-designed Art for Water installations and events. These events are directed by Christine Destrempes as Artist-in-Residence.

Public Art for Water projects generate enthusiasm and awareness around grand-scale endeavors that draw thousands of community members together. Mass cooperation on a simple but impressive project draws people who never otherwise meet each other, setting the stage for further cooperation.
